Established in 1979, Hysons is a firm of chartered accountants in Andover, Hampshire. Compromised of three partners and a team of specialist accounting consultants, we pride ourselves in delivering our customers with a first-class service.

Meet Our Partners
Philip Antrobus ACA FCCA
Philip joined Hysons in January 2006 and completed his membership to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2012. In 2020 Philip also completed his membership with ICAEW and holds both ACA and FCCA qualifications.
Having gained experience and qualifications in accounting software packages Philip looks after the firms SME's on a more regular basis, providing management accounts, VAT returns and management information for stakeholders.
In his spare time Philip is an avid follower of football as well as trying and mostly failing to master the golf course.
Mark Hyson FCA
Mark qualified in 1972 and, having gained a broad range of commercial and practice experience, established Hysons in 1979.
He has developed a wide range of interests in his professional life in assisting clients in a number of sectors but does have a particular affinity to the farming sector and particularly enjoys the application of trust and tax knowledge.
Away from the office, he has obtained a lot of satisfaction from assisting various charities and he has enjoyed participating a number of sporting activities, all of which to a very modest level.
Meet Our Associates
Sheila Day ACA CTA
Having joined Ernst & Young straight from University, Sheila spent 9 years with the firm becoming an Audit Manger before leaving to travel the world on a somewhat late "gap" year. On her return to the UK Sheila joined the Automobile Association and undertook a series of senior management roles within Internal Audit, Group Finance, and the Financial Services Business.
Having had a career break to raise a family, Sheila joined Hysons in 2007. In recent years she has developed her interest in the field of taxation, particularly in relation to Trusts and Estates.
Life outside the office is busy, with two sons, a crazy cat and still trying to find the time to travel.
Chris Joyce
Chris joined Hysons in August 1995 straight from college and trained to be a member of the ACCA. Chris is now a fellow of the ACCA and holds an auditing practising certificate.
Chris’ main role is in the preparation of company accounts and the independent examination of charity financial statements. Chris also undertakes the majority of the practice’s audit work.
When Chris is not spending time with his family, he closely follows Liverpool FC and all things Formula 1. Drumming is also a passion of Chris, however performing at Wembley Stadium is a long way off.
